Winchester Wanderings - 11th September
"It's my birthday and I'll cache if I want to!" My apologies to Lesley Gore.
Kathy has arranged for us to go down to Poole and visit Brownsea Island, a place that I've wanted to visit since I won a book about Lord Baden-Powell in 1957 for raising the most money during Bob-A-Job Week.
Tonight though we are staying in Winchester and visiting the Cathedral. This is another of our little quests - to visit every Cathedral in England.
I also had time to capture three trads including two CMs and do the groundwork for the Cathedral multi before I was whisked of to a nearby pub for a few pints of Alfred Brewery Golden Ale. This seemed like a good idea at the time.
