My wife booked us in at a hotel in Hyde Park on a wowcher deal for silly money. The only trouble was that the Hyde Park Hotel is next to Kensington Gardens.🥴 Still, we had a splendid walk through the gardens following the route of the Kensington Gardens - London AdLab series. We even got to see the elusive Peter Pan.
On the way back to the hotel we passed the WW2 Headquarters of the Czech equivalent of the Special Operations Executive in Porchester Gate. It was here that here that the assassination of Reinhard Heydrich, a high ranking SS officer was planned.
I was unable to find the plaque but the mystery cache was an easy find.
