After resting yesterday, I needed to find a cache today so it was off to one of the nearest and quickest to get to - Tilbury, to Go Fishing. This is the first cache set by Hedgepig and The Sticky Bandit and it was a git to find!!

I'd planned a walk around Kelvedon today starting with a Mr Crow trad. I had to pass through a farm near the Essex Fire HQ and spotted some interesting iron work. As it was early, I though I'd take a photograph if possible on the way back. After the cache, I luckily ran into the farm owner and had a decent chat with him.
I had a couple of hours so decided to whizz over to Burnham to pick up a few caches. First on this list was to re-visit Tinkers Hole to pick up the recently replaced cache. It was a quick find as I knew where it was. I took a photo of the infamous street sign.
Another trip up to North Essex and less heat expected today. I started in Aldham as I needed to find a puzzle I couldn't get last week. Then off to another replaced cache, a paddle and clamber under a bridge in Fordham and then another puzzle, Desiderata, along the Essex Way where I passed last week :-(
Another look for Rocky Post over Langdon way. It's a 1.5/1, coords are well out but hint is good. The cache is big enough for swaps and everyone is finding it except me.
After a very late night at an Open Mic night at The Green Man in Herongate, the anticipated early start this morning didn't materialise so the Dad's Army series in Hartford End waits for another day.
Today I needed a puzzle cache to accomplish the latest mission. I had a couple of solved puzzles up my sleeve near Maldon so I made an early start to miss the heat.
Thursday, my day out, the temperature is going to drop by ten degrees, it's going to rain... all good signs for a good days walking. What a con, it was hotter, I was on a circular walk and halfway through, I'd had enough, questioning why I was here in the first place, couldn't find a simple cache. I gave up and shuffled off towards the car which according to cache distance, 2km.
