I meant Mersea! I had plans of visiting Mersea Island today and breaking my record of 5 different types of cache found in a day.
Nathan's cache just off from a layby on the A414 seemed to fit the bill.
CazMockett reached the legendary target of 366 days geocaching (and finding them) today. So it was off to Galleywood for her Teddy Bears Picnic to offer my congratulations.
I need one cache today and I had reconnoitured this one the other day so I thought I could do this in an hour there and back from home!
Well tonight I've got a press pass to see one of my favourite bands, The Kentucky Headhunters at the Borderline Club in London.

I parked on the rough ground at the start of Deadman's Lane and briskly walked to GZ. There it was a quick find despite of the heavy camouflage.
Today it was off to Hadleigh to try to pick up the Ghost Town cache. I was apprehensive as previous logs mentioned that the road was private, however, the road is part of the Salvation Army Spiritual Walk.
After a splendid lunch, I walked through the plum orchards to Birch Wood Picture Box.
