It was mainly going to be trad hunting this morning gathering up caches hidden by the island COs of, the sticky bandit, solarpop and iza330 . I started in Northwick Road and found three trads along there. Luckily the traffic was light as I drove over to Canvey Heights CP. I cleared up that series over there before doing a few drive bys along Canvey Heights Way bordering on Smallgains Park.
I carried on down towards Canvey Wick and parked up in the Canvey FC car park. I was last here about 15 years ago when the Shrimpers beat the Gulls 2-0 in an FA Cup replay.😀 I found the trad here quickly despite of all the school gate traffic and then drove down to the river front. I found all the trads along the sea wall until I reached The Monico. There's extensive reconstruction of the sea defences here so it was impossible to get to the caches along this stretch. In fact they have now been disabled.
I'd had enough by now so I headed for home. However, I couldn't resist looking for the new MINI ST - Canvey Island at Waterside Farm. This one was a clever one. In fact, I gave it a fave point.😀
