We set sail from Tilbury and two days later, docked in Hamburg. It was in the middle of a snow storm. Don't beleive these people who say that the UK is behind the rest of Europe when it comes to dealing with snow. The city was gridlocked due to lorries and coaches not being able to drive over snowed up bridges.🥴

We managed to get into the centre in an Uber so the day wasn't lost. The market was great but we didn't want to stray too far from there. Luckily for me the St Nikolai virtual was just down the road. At one time, the tower here was the highest among churches in the world and even now, it remains the fifth. The church was destroyed apart from the tower by allied bombing in 1944.

Another day at sea brought us down to Antwerp on the River Scheldt in Belgium. During our saunter around the city, I managed to pick up three virtuals including ANTWERP City Hall and Europe's First Skyscraper shown in the picture below. I was more than pleased with the three.

By the way, there's a series of Challenge caches in the London Royal Docks where you must have found at least three caches in EU countries. These caches enabled me to qualify for Belgium and Germany.😀
