I arrived in Knole just before fawn and parked up in the suggested parking place for the Going Nuts in Knole AL series. I had to walk down a muddy slope to get to the Hollybush entrance to Knole Park. There was a base just inside the gated entrance and I continued on a sequential walk through the park up to Knole House. I didn't see any deer in the park at all but there was a bonus cache with the series. Luckily the final stage was near to where the car was parked.
I headed into town to look for the Lest We Forget - Sevenoaks multi. Although the coords looked good and the hint matched, I couldn't find the cache.🥴 Shortly after logging the DNF, I was contacted by the CO asking to check my coords. I sent them straight back but I've never heard back from them. There were a couple of trads nearby, A Lolly on The Vine and What a Grape Cache which were soon found though.
I wanted to look at some caches in Riverhead at the north end of Sevenoaks but all I had time for were four of The Riverhead AL series. I tried hard at the last stage at the church but the information that I needed on gravestones now used for paving was covered by heavy rubber matting put down to help prevent slippage.
