Shoebury Sunday

I need to keep the numbers flowing and as I need to stay over this side of the river due to DART Charge problems, it's an early start in Shoebury this morning. First up was the easy Sedgemoor Saunter. Mathsnut had placed four trads in these Free Libraries in front gardens in West Shoebury or should I say Thorpe Bay and as it was early I was able to grab them all without attracting attention.😀

I continued on to the sea front parking near the Shorehouse pub. I walked over to the Coastguard Station where I soon found the Coastguard Lookout trad. I carried on east collecting drive bys or parking where I could and walking back to find trads until reached one called Mulberry Harbour. Most of you will know the story about this WW2 caisson beached a couple of miles offshore. It's the black blob in the distance in the photo.

It was time to head for home but I set my route to visit the new CM at St Mary's, Hawkwell. After another quick find, I set off for breakfast.
